April is the ideal time to plan a property viewing trip, while the resorts are quieter and it makes it easier for one of our team to show you around the properties of your choice. Let us make the search for your dream home truly worthwhile…
As spring is now upon us, why not move a step closer to finding an overseas property by booking a viewing trip with us?
Here are some great tips on making the viewing trip work for you:
- If possible, avoid doing your viewing trip during school holidays and half-terms – it’ll be easier to book air fares and less busy everywhere, not forgetting flights and hotels will be cheaper. A key benefit of visiting this time of year is that fewer properties are rented to holidaymakers, making access for property viewings easier to organise.
- Make use of your smart phones or ipads to help you remember each property you visit – once you’re back home, you won’t be able to pop back easily for another look, as you would if you were buying somewhere in the UK. Also, Google Maps is a great tool for getting an overview of the locations and distances to the beach and amenities.
- Once you’ve chosen the resort or area, you can rely on us to show you all the properties in that area that match your requirements. We will also help you to find suitable accommodation and drive you around to all the properties. Making the whole experience stress free and relaxing.
- It is not uncommon for our clients to find and pay a deposit for a property during their viewing trip. So please be prepared for this to happen subject to you finding the right property, as you certainly won’t want to lose it. Ideally, you should also put in place as many of those things needed for completion as possible before flying home, again we will help you with all aspects of this process, ensuring that you have appointed power of attorney to a local lawyer, opened a local bank account and applied for your NIE number before flying back to the UK.
